Why Tumkur Businesses Choose a Portable Cabin
A permanent room takes weeks of masonry, curing and plastering. Then, once the project ends, it either gets demolished or sits empty. A portable cabin skips all of that. • It's built before it arrives. Placement, utility connections and readiness for use depend on site access, lifting arrangements, prepared services and the agreed scope. • It can move with you. If work may shift from one plot to the next, or from Vasanthanarasapura to a new site near Sira, tell us before you order, so the lifting arrangement is agreed in the drawing and quotation. • It stays your asset. A well-kept cabin can be reused or resold later. • Approvals depend on the site. Whether a temporary structure needs a civil approval varies, so it's always worth checking with your local authority for your specific plot.
Where Portable Cabins Are Useful Around Tumkur
Tumakuru district covers a lot of ground, and the needs vary from place to place. Here's where portable cabins tend to be most useful. • Industrial areas. Units in Vasanthanarasapura, Antharasanahalli and Sathyamangala use cabins as gate offices, security posts, store rooms and supervisor offices, especially while the main building is still under construction. • Construction and real estate. Builders working on layouts and apartment projects around Tumkur city, Kyathsandra and along the Kunigal road can use our cabins as site offices and as marketing offices where buyers come to see plans. • Solar and infrastructure projects. Large projects in the Pavagada and Sira belt run for months in remote, open terrain. A cabin gives the team an office, a control room or a rest room without building anything permanent. • Farms and plantations. Around Tiptur, Gubbi and Turuvekere, farm owners use cabins as watchman rooms, tool stores and simple farm stay units among the coconut and arecanut plantations. • Shops and small businesses. A cabin with a rolling shutter front makes a quick roadside shop, a ticket counter or a small service point on the highway.
Our Standard Portable Cabin
Start with our standard model and adjust it from there. • Size: 10 × 10 × 8.5 ft • Structure: frame and roof as set out in the drawing and quotation you approve • Cladding: MS corrugated sheet, painted • Fittings: door, window, lighting points and power sockets as per the agreed drawing • Base: Support, foundation, levelling and anchoring requirements depend on the site and are confirmed in the drawing and quotation. Need something bigger or different? We build to your drawing. Common changes include larger sizes like 20 × 10 ft, an attached toilet, extra windows, partitions to make two rooms, AC provision, a rolling shutter front for shop use, or a covered verandah. We share a 2D drawing first so you can see exactly what you're getting before fabrication starts.

Buy or Rent: Which Makes More Sense?
This is the question we're asked most, and the honest answer is that it depends on how long you need the cabin. Buying is usually better if: • You'll use the cabin for more than a year • It's going to be a permanent security post, store or office on your own land • You want to move it between your own projects over time Renting is usually better if: • Your project has a fixed end date, such as a construction contract • You need a cabin quickly and don't want to tie up capital • You're not sure yet how long the site will run On a tighter budget? Ask about our second-hand portable cabins. They're inspected, repaired where needed, and repainted before they go out, and they suit short projects or farm use very well. Second-hand cabins are subject to physical inspection and availability. See full rental terms on our Portable Cabin Rentals page, or explore the range on our Porta Cabin page.
Delivery Across Tumakuru District
Tumkur sits on the Bengaluru–Pune highway. We deliver across the district, including: Tumakuru city · Kyathsandra · Vasanthanarasapura · Antharasanahalli · Gubbi · Kunigal · Tiptur · Sira · Madhugiri · Koratagere · Pavagada · Chikkanayakanahalli · Turuvekere Transportation is arranged and quoted based on the delivery location and site access. The charge is shown to you, GST included, before you pay. No surprises when the truck shows up. Before delivery, you'll just need to make sure there's: • A spot for the cabin, prepared as the drawing and quotation set out • Enough road access for a truck to reach, or reach close to, the spot • Space for unloading (we'll guide you on this when we discuss the order)

How Ordering Works
1. Tell us what you need. Call or WhatsApp us with the size, use and location. 2. Get a drawing and quotation. We send a 2D layout and a clear price, including transport. 3. Approve and confirm. Once you approve the drawing and pay the advance, fabrication begins. 4. Fabrication. Manufacturing takes 10–15 working days after shop-drawing approval and advance payment. 5. Delivery and placement. We bring it to your site in Tumkur. We arrange loading, unloading and the lifting equipment required for the cabin. The charges and scope for these are set out in your quotation. For the standard cabin, you can also order directly through our Porta Cabin product page.
Warranty You Can Count On
Every new cabin you buy comes with: • 5 years structural warranty (routine upkeep against rust and paint wear is the owner's responsibility) • 1 year warranty on supplied electrical fittings and hardware A little care goes a long way. Touching up paint every couple of years and keeping water from collecting around the base can keep the cabin in good shape well beyond the warranty period.
