This Privacy Policy explains how Porta Cabin Systems collects, uses and protects the information you share with us through this website.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide in enquiry, quotation, calculator and appointment forms — such as your name, contact details, company, requirement and any files you upload — along with basic technical information needed to operate the website.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, arrange deliveries and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us operate (for example email or hosting), only as needed to provide our service.

When you order online and your delivery address is in Karnataka or Tamil Nadu, our server sends the address line, city or district, and state you enter at checkout to openrouteservice, a mapping service run by HeiGIT gGmbH in Heidelberg, Germany. The service uses them to find where the address is and to measure its road distance from our yard, which decides which delivery rate applies. This information is processed outside India. Your PIN code, name, phone number and email address are not sent to openrouteservice. For every other state the charge is set by the state alone and your address is not sent to openrouteservice for this delivery calculation.

Online orders and payments

When you pay for an order on this website we collect your name, email address, mobile number and delivery address to fulfil and deliver it. Payments are processed by our payment partner Razorpay under its own privacy policy. We receive only the payment reference, amount and status: card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs and bank passwords are entered in Razorpay’s secure window and are never seen or stored by this website.

When you enter a PIN code in a form or at checkout, only that PIN code is looked up in India Post’s public PIN code directory (through api.postalpincode.in) to fill in your city and state.

Cookies and browser storage

This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and carries no third-party tracking script. The cookies it does set are the ones it cannot work without: one when you sign in to an account and one when an administrator signs in, both of which your browser keeps from JavaScript, plus a small flag that records only that someone is signed in so the pages can show “My account”. Unless you choose “remember me”, the sign-in cookie lasts only until you close your browser.

Your Quote Cart is kept in your own browser’s local storage, not on our servers, so clearing your browser data clears it. Two services we use set their own cookies when you meet them: the spam check on our forms, and the payment window when you pay for an order. Because none of these cookies is used for advertising or analytics, there is nothing here to opt out of; you can block or clear cookies in your browser, and the parts that need them — signing in and paying — will then stop working.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry, quotation and appointment records for as long as we need them to serve you, and order and payment records for as long as Indian tax and company law requires us to keep them. When a record is no longer needed for either purpose, we delete it or stop being able to identify you from it.

How we protect it

Your information is held in access-controlled systems. Passwords are stored only as irreversible hashes, never in a form anyone can read. Card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs and bank passwords are entered only in Razorpay’s own secure window and never reach this website. Every page and every form is served over HTTPS.
