Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how orders placed with Porta Cabin Systems can be cancelled — orders paid for online on this website, and orders placed through a quotation and purchase order.

Before you pay online

You can leave the checkout or close the payment window at any time; nothing is charged until Razorpay confirms your payment. An unpaid order for a catalogue cabin can be paid from its order page for 24 hours, after which it closes automatically; a ready-stock or second-hand unit is held for a shorter time, explained below. An unpaid order is also closed if a price changes before you pay; you can then start a new checkout at the current price.

Cancelling a paid order

To cancel an order you have paid for, call +91 99019 40062 or email portacabinsystems@gmail.com with your order number as soon as possible.

For custom-built and made-to-order cabins:

• Cancellation before procurement or fabrication: The customer is eligible for a full refund when cancellation is accepted before material procurement or fabrication has begun. Any delivery charge paid at checkout is refunded in full as part of it, because the delivery has not been made.
• After procurement or fabrication begins: Once procurement or fabrication has started, the order cannot be cancelled and amounts already paid are non-refundable, because the unit is being produced to the customer’s approved specification.

We confirm the cancellation and any refund amount to you in writing before the refund is made.

If we cannot supply your order

For a cabin ordered through a quotation, or a catalogue cabin paid for online, availability is confirmed after your order. A ready-stock or second-hand marketplace unit is the exact unit shown, and is set aside for you as soon as its online payment starts (see below). If we are unable to supply a cabin you have paid for, we cancel it and refund the full amount you paid for it.

Ready-stock and second-hand marketplace units

A ready-stock or second-hand unit is reserved for you when you start its online payment, so it cannot be sold to anyone else meanwhile. If the order is not paid within 60 minutes of your last payment attempt, and no payment is in progress, the order closes and the unit is offered to others again; you can start a new checkout if it is still available.

A marketplace unit may be cancelled before it is dispatched from the Porta Cabin Systems yard, and the full amount paid is refunded, including the delivery charge. After dispatch, returns are not accepted; a unit that is not as described, or has an undisclosed defect, is covered by the remedy in our Refund and Returns Policy.

Orders placed through a quotation

The same terms apply to an order placed against an approved written quotation: a full refund when cancellation is accepted before material procurement or fabrication has begun, and no cancellation once procurement or fabrication has started.
