This policy explains the warranty that comes with a cabin or unit purchased from Porta Cabin Systems.
What is covered
The warranty covers every cabin and unit purchased from Porta Cabin Systems — new, ready-stock and second-hand units, and used shipping containers:
- Structure: The cabin structure is covered by a 5-year structural warranty, subject to customer maintenance against rust and paint deterioration.
- Electrical items and hardware: Electrical items and hardware items supplied with the cabin are covered by a 1-year warranty from the confirmed date of delivery.
When it starts, and what it applies to
Warranty periods begin from the confirmed date of delivery/handover and apply only to items supplied by Porta Cabin Systems. Where your quotation states different warranty terms, those terms apply.
