Porta Cabin in Vasanthanarasapura Industrial Area, Tumakuru

Vasanthanarasapura sits right on NH 48, a short drive from Tumakuru city. The KIADB phases here are already running, and the new Tumakuru Industrial Township under the Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor is taking shape right next door. All that building means one recurring need: a working room on site, fast. Whether it's a site office while your shed comes up, or a security cabin at the gate once production starts, a porta cabin gets you there without months of civil work. We build our cabins in Bangalore, finish them fully at our yard, and truck them straight up the highway to your plot. Delivery, unloading and placement on your site are arranged as set out in your quotation. Placement, utility connections and readiness for use depend on site access, lifting arrangements, prepared services and the agreed scope.

Why a Porta Cabin Makes Sense Here

A lot of the plots around Vasanthanarasapura are greenfield sites. There's often no existing building, sometimes no boundary wall yet — just open land and a construction schedule. That's exactly where a ready-made cabin pays off: • Day-one office space. Your project team gets a lockable working room before the first column goes up. • No civil work to manage. No masonry to build or cure, and no extra contractor on an already busy site. Support, foundation, levelling and anchoring requirements depend on the site and are confirmed in the drawing and quotation. • Designed as a portable structure. As the shed takes shape, moving the cabin to the gate or the dispatch area depends on its size, configuration, condition, site access, transport requirements and the lifting method available at that time. • A second life after construction. The site office can serve as the security post or stores room once the factory is running. • Approvals depend on your plot. Whether a cabin needs an approval varies — check your allotment terms with KIADB if in doubt.

Where Units Put Their Cabins

In a fast-growing industrial area like this one, porta cabins usually end up doing one of these jobs: • Project site office — for the builder, project manager or consultant while the factory is being constructed. • Security cabin — at the main gate, with clear views of the road and the yard for logging vehicles and visitors. • Supervisor or QC room — a closed, quiet space on the shop floor for checks and paperwork. • Stores and tool room — lockable space for spares, consumables or packed goods waiting to ship. • Labour rest room — somewhere cool and covered for breaks and shift changeovers. • Dispatch or weighbridge office — beside the loading bay to manage trucks and documents. • Temporary admin block — a proper office for HR, accounts or purchase until the permanent building is ready.

The Cabin Itself: Specs and Options

Our standard porta cabin measures 10 × 10 × 8.5 ft. It has MS corrugated sheet cladding — a solid, practical build that copes well with the dust, heat and rain of an open industrial site. A typical cabin includes the items below. The exact windows, electrical points and finish for your cabin are confirmed on the drawing and in the quotation. • Size (L × W × H): 10 × 10 × 8.5 ft • Outer cladding: MS corrugated sheet • Door and windows: Steel door, glazed windows • Electricals: Lights, fan, switches and sockets • Finish: Primer plus paint For bigger teams, we also build 20 × 10 ft and 40 × 10 ft cabins, as well as G+1 (two-level) units when you'd rather build up than spread out. You can add: • Extra windows or a glass-fronted office look • A partition to create two separate rooms • An attached toilet • AC provision and more power points • Exterior paint in your brand colours, with your logo You approve a 2D drawing first, so there are no surprises on delivery day.

Buying vs Renting

It mostly comes down to how long the cabin will be needed. Buy a Porta Cabin Buy it when it's going to be part of the factory for the long haul — a gate cabin, a QC room, a permanent store. It's yours to upgrade, and relocating it later depends on its size, configuration, condition, site access, transport requirements and the lifting method available at that time. Rent a Porta Cabin Rent it when it's only needed during construction. Many units in a developing area like Vasanthanarasapura only need a site office until the main building is ready. You pay by the month, and we take it back once you're done. Tell us your timeline and we'll show you what each option would cost, so you can choose with real numbers in hand.

Delivery to Vasanthanarasapura

Manufacturing takes 10–15 working days after shop-drawing approval and advance payment. Here's the process from start to finish: 1. Send your requirement — what the cabin is for, the size you need, and your phase or plot number. 2. Review the drawing and quote — a 2D layout plus a clear, itemised price. 3. Pay the advance — fabrication starts at our yard in Bangalore. 4. Highway delivery — the finished cabin travels up NH 48 on a truck. 5. Placement — Delivery, unloading and placement on your site are arranged as set out in your quotation. Placement, utility connections and readiness for use depend on site access, lifting arrangements, prepared services and the agreed scope. Because it's a longer trip from Bangalore, we like to confirm site access in advance. Clear space for the truck and crane makes delivery day smooth — on fresh plots without internal roads, a quick call beforehand saves a lot of hassle. Support, foundation, levelling and anchoring requirements depend on the site and are confirmed in the drawing and quotation.

What Goes Into the Price

We quote each cabin for the job, because a one-room gate cabin and a fitted-out site office are very different builds. The cost depends on: • Size — the 10 × 10 ft cabin is the most affordable; larger and G+1 units cost more. • Inside fittings — toilets, partitions, extra glazing and AC points. • Buy or rent — and the rental period, if you're renting. • Transport and crane — the distance up NH 48 and placement on your plot. You'll get a written quote with GST listed separately, so there's nothing hidden when the bill comes.

Warranty and Our Way of Working

Every porta cabin we sell is covered by a 5-year structural warranty, plus a 1-year warranty on the electrical fittings and hardware we supply. To keep the structural warranty valid, the cabin needs simple care — repainting where the coat wears and dealing with rust before it spreads. What you get from us: • Clarity upfront — drawing and full price before work begins. • In-house fabrication — every cabin is built at our own yard. • A single team — drawing, fabrication, transport and installation all handled together. • After-sales support — call the same number if anything needs fixing. • Registered and GST-compliant — our GSTIN and Udyam registration number are shown at the foot of every page.
