A Room for Your Harohalli Plot

A porta cabin gives you that room without waiting on civil work. We fabricate steel cabins in Bangalore, finish them completely at our yard, and bring them to your plot in the Harohalli KIADB layout. Placement, utility connections and readiness for use depend on site access, lifting arrangements, prepared services and the agreed scope. We're a family-run business that builds cabins for factories, builders and warehouses around Bangalore. Whether your unit is in one of the older, running phases or on a fresh plot that's just been allotted, we can get a cabin there.

Why Harohalli Units Go for Porta Cabins

KIADB has developed Harohalli as a multi-product industrial area, spread over several phases. You'll find engineering units and chemical and pharma plants — many of them still building or expanding — and the newer phases were planned for food processing and garment units too. That mix of new construction and running factories is exactly where porta cabins make sense: • You can start before the building is up. Put a cabin on the plot on day one and run the project from it. • Less civil work on a busy site. The cabin is built at our yard, so there are no masons in the way. Support, foundation, levelling and anchoring requirements depend on the site and are confirmed in the drawing and quotation. • It fits around your layout. Place it at the gate, beside the shed or near the loading bay. If you expect to move the cabin later, tell us before you order, so the lifting arrangement is agreed in the drawing and quotation. • It stays useful after the build. The site office you used during construction can become your security post or store once production starts. • Simpler to add than a permanent room. A porta cabin is usually easier to put on an allotted plot — it's worth checking your KIADB allotment terms if you're unsure.

What Harohalli Units Use Them For

In an industrial area like Harohalli, cabin uses usually fall into a few clear groups: • Gate and security cabins — a compact cabin with windows facing the road and the yard, so the guard can see every vehicle coming in. • Construction site offices — for the civil contractor or project engineer while your factory shed is being built. • Production and QC rooms — a clean, closed space beside the machines for inspection, records or a supervisor's desk. • Tool rooms and stores — lockable storage for spares, consumables and finished goods awaiting dispatch. • Workers' rest and changing rooms — a covered place for breaks and shift changes. • Dispatch and weighbridge cabins — at the loading area, where truck entries and challans get handled. • Interim offices — a working admin room while your permanent office block is still on paper.

Our Standard Cabin, and What You Can Change

Our standard cabin is the 10 × 10 × 8.5 ft porta cabin. It's clad in MS corrugated sheet — tough enough for a dusty industrial plot and simple to maintain. A typical cabin includes the items below. The exact windows, electrical points and finish for your cabin are confirmed on the drawing and in the quotation. • Size (L × W × H): 10 × 10 × 8.5 ft • Outer cladding: MS corrugated sheet • Door and windows: Steel door, glazed windows • Electricals: Lights, fan, switches and sockets • Finish: Primer plus paint If 100 sq ft isn't enough, we also make 20 × 10 ft and 40 × 10 ft cabins, plus G+1 (two-storey) units for plots where every metre of ground counts. Common changes include: • More windows, or a full glass front for an office look • An internal partition for a cabin and a waiting area • An attached toilet • AC provision and additional power points • Your company colours or logo on the exterior Before we cut any steel, you'll get a 2D drawing to check and approve.

Should You Buy or Rent?

A simple way to decide: think about where the cabin will be a year from now. Buy a Porta Cabin If it'll still be on your plot, buying usually works out better. A gate cabin, a QC room or a stores cabin tends to stay for years, and owning it means you can modify it whenever you like. Rent a Porta Cabin If it'll be gone once your shed is finished, renting is the smarter choice. You pay monthly for the months you use it, and we collect it when the job is over — nothing left for you to store or sell. Still in two minds? Give us the expected duration and we'll lay out both options side by side.

Getting the Cabin to Harohalli

Manufacturing takes 10–15 working days after shop-drawing approval and advance payment. The steps are straightforward: 1. Tell us what you need — the cabin's use, the size you're thinking of, and your plot or phase in Harohalli. 2. Check the drawing and quote — we send a 2D layout with a clear price. 3. Confirm with an advance — fabrication begins at our yard. 4. Transport down Kanakapura Road — the finished cabin is loaded onto a truck and brought to your site. 5. Placement and handover — delivery, unloading and placement on your site are arranged as set out in your quotation. Before the truck arrives, make sure a crane can get close. Support, foundation, levelling and anchoring requirements depend on the site and are confirmed in the drawing and quotation. On newly allotted plots where the internal road or gate isn't finished yet, let us know early so we can plan the route in.

How the Price Is Worked Out

A guard cabin at the gate and a two-room site office are priced very differently, so we quote each job on its own. The main things that move the number: • Cabin size — 10 × 10 ft is the most economical; 20 × 10 ft, 40 × 10 ft and G+1 units cost more. • What goes inside — toilets, partitions, extra glazing and AC points. • Purchase or rental — and for rentals, the number of months. • Transport and crane — the trip to Harohalli and placement on your plot. Every quote comes in writing with GST shown separately, so your accounts team knows exactly what they're paying for.

Warranty and Working With Us

Each porta cabin we sell carries a 5-year structural warranty and a 1-year warranty on the electrical fittings and hardware we supply. The structural cover depends on regular upkeep — a fresh coat of paint where needed and keeping rust from settling in. Here's what you can count on: • No guesswork — you see the drawing and the full price before anything is built. • Built in-house — we fabricate every cabin at our own yard. • One point of contact — the same team handles drawing, fabrication, delivery and placement, as set out in your quotation. • Support after delivery — a loose hinge or a faulty switch is one phone call away. • Proper billing — our GSTIN and Udyam registration number are shown at the foot of every page.
